Childcare
We strive to provide a loving, safe and educational environment for your child, and would like to consider ourselves an extension of your home. We care about your child’s physical, mental, emotional, and social development.
We will encourage your child to develop a sense of what is right and wrong, a consideration for the feelings of others, a respect for adults and other children and a feeling of accomplishment and positive self-esteem. At the same time, we will strive to provide an academic program for intellectual growth.
Our aim is to assist each child in reaching their full potential. We strive to meet this goal by recognizing each stage of development in each child and planning activities to meet these individual needs. Emphasis is placed on nurturing and facilitating growth in all developmental domains: social, physical, emotional, and cognitive.
Our infant room provides a home away from home for our youngest children. Infants are nurtured and cared for based on their individual needs. We understand the importance of creating one on one bonds with each infant and establishing a trusting and responsive relationship with families. Caregivers respond to each infant with affection and sensitivity to their unique developmental stage.
Waddlers
The waddler room is set up for our newest walkers and offers opportunity for children to start exploring the world around them. Our waddlers have a loosely structured morning, with free play, crafts, songs, stories and outside play. Waddlers are encouraged to feed themselves and explore the world around them in a smaller setting with nurturing caregivers to provide guidance and affection.
Toddlers
The toddler class offers a smaller setting classroom to allow the curious 2 year old the opportunity to explore and grow in a secure, safe environment. Our approach is based on the philosophy that children learn best through hands-on experience. Each day is filled with fun activities that spark curiosity and promote learning. Toddlers learn to navigate their environment, work on social skills, and become aware of their impact in the classroom community through play, art and music. Toddlers develop friendships, enhance their vocabulary and are encouraged to increase their self-help skills.
Three's Class
As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they are ready to take on a classroom setting with more activities. Our 3's preschool class offers a small group setting which enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and develop a love of lifelong learning. We offer themed units that encourage a child's curiosity, increase confidence, and support self-directed activities. Children are provided a structured classroom routine to promote social development and open-ended learning opportunities. Each day offers a balance of teacher-directed activities and child-initiated discovery.
Four's/Five's Class
Our program creates an environment that prepares your child for the social, independent, and academic expectations required for their continued development. This is a time when children are making connections between what they know and what they are learning. Our Pre-K curriculum focuses on letter recognition and writing as well as learning to participate in routines, demonstrate the ability to make decisions, and to plan ahead. As your child prepares for the next stage of their education, our Pre-K class gives them a place to feel comfortable and safe to explore their interests. This class uses not only small-group lessons focused on mathematics and literacy but whole group activities that help your child build awareness of others and a sense of community.
